Oliver Exorna Group expand into Stone Worktop Fabrication
Solid Surface NI Ltd., the new company formed by family run Oliver Exorna Group, will process Quartz, Ultra Compact Surfaces, Ceramics and Natural Stone, creating beautiful bespoke Kitchen Worktops.
“This £1.5m investment has allowed us to create an ultra-reliable and efficient stone processing workshop. For our new and existing customers at Exorna Kitchens & Bedrooms, this means within just one week from Laser Templating your new kitchen, we can supply and fit your new bespoke stone worktops.” says Andy Oliver, Director of Oliver Exorna Group.
Having over 15 years first-hand experience in the UK Logistics sector working at Oliver Transport Services Ltd. it’s very obvious that Andy regards fast and efficient service as one of the primary goals of this new company.
“People are used to companies like Amazon and E-bay delivering goods within days of ordering, so why not provide the same service? Provided the stone is available, we believe in supply and fitting stone worktops within days of ordering, rather than weeks!” he says.
Andy goes on to state “House Builders and Property Developers that Exorna currently do business with are very excited about the opportunity now presented. The new home buyer can build their Stone Worktop upgrade into their new mortgage, Exorna offers a complete package for the builder/developer, something my brother Richard, who is Sale Director at Exorna Kitchens & Bedrooms, is very keen to promote.”
Solid Surface NI Ltd. has chosen the Cosentino Group as their primary supplier of stone products, their main products include Silestone Quartz and Dekton Ultra-Compact Surfaces.
“Choosing Cosentino as our primary supplier was an easy choice for us. Cosentino Group has an annual global turnover in excess of €900m, product warranties of between 10 and 25 years and an Ireland supply network with depots in Dublin and newly opened Antrim. They are a seriously well setup supplier of our primary products” explained Andy.
“We display stone samples in over 70 different colours and textures in our showroom at Exorna Kitchens & Bedrooms Showroom in Coleraine, and we have a limited selection of full size stone slabs the customers can view in our new Stone Workshop at the same location. If the colour and texture they choose is not available to view in full size format at our workshop, we can organise for a visit to the new Cosentino Showroom and Warehouse at Nutts Corner, Antrim, where the customer can hand pick their actual stone slab”.
Brand new machinery has been installed by Breton S.P.A., including a 5 axis Saw/Water-jet combination machine and a 4 Axis CNC Router.
“Just as important as choosing quality material, is choosing state of the art machinery. Breton S.P.A. was an obvious choice! My father Willie and I visited one of their production facilities in Italy earlier this year along with their Ireland representative, Pat Swayne. It was clear after the 2 day visit, having spoken to other existing Breton customers, that their quality of machinery and level of aftersales support is the best available in the stone fabrication industry. Our new model Combi-cut machine with worktop exchanger is the first and only one currently in the UK.” says Andy.
Solid Surface NI Ltd welcome trade enquiries and also from those who are just looking to upgrade their current kitchen worktop.
Andy goes on to say “We will be creating one off furniture pieces including the likes of kitchen tables, which are built to the customers size and specification. Examples of these are displayed on our website and in Exorna Kitchens & Bedrooms Showroom. These one-off pieces will be sold under the AOXO brand.”
